Homeland Security: SSI currently provides strategic support to clients within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in assessing and mitigating risks to critical infrastructure in the United States.
- In 2007 DHS' Office of Infrastructure Protection/Infrastructure Security Compliance Division (OIP/ISCD) selected SSI to support their implementation of the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS).
- In 2008 DHS' Transportation Security Administration/Office of Transportation Sector Network Management (TSNM) selected SSI to support their on-site security inspections of critical pipeline facilities in the United States.
As a prime contractor to DHS on these multi-year contracts, SSI has a keen understanding of the importance of being highly responsive to our DHS program managers and providing a consistently superior product to support the homeland security mission.
